Segui la Strada dei Mattoni Gialli!
Negli ultimi cinque anni, Midge Guerrera ha aiutato gli studenti di Pontelandolfo di tutte le età con il loro inglese. Quest’anno, per festeggiare il suo 70 ° compleanno, ha deciso di offrire agli studenti un’esperienza divertente di apprendimento della lingua inglese.
Il 15 maggio alle ore 18:00 “Segui la Strada dei Mattoni Gialli” fino alla Sala Papa Giovanni Paolo II a Pontelandolfo per vedere Il Mago di Oz.
Il film verrà proposto in inglese, lingua originale e i sottotitoli in formato karaoke saranno anch’essi in inglese. L’evento fornirà agli studenti l’opportunità di guardarsi questo famoso classico in lingua originale, esercitandosi a leggere, parlare e cantare in inglese.
L’ammissione è gratuita. Per divertimento puoi indossare un costume del Wizard of Oz!
Ci saranno degli ospiti speciali, due attori americani, Janet Watson e George Hansel.
Essi saliranno sul palco per aiutare gli studenti a cantare tutti insieme le canzoni che hanno reso famoso il film fantasy americano del 1939, prodotto da Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. Entrambi gli ospiti hanno una lunga storia di creazioni teatrali per bambini e adulti.
Janet Watson è una specialista nello sviluppo di programmi teatrali per persone con bisogni speciali. Ha condiviso i suoi talenti vocali con il pubblico di tutto il mondo.
George Hansel attualmente vive in Olanda e dirige diverse compagnie teatrali di lingua inglese. Prima di trasferirsi in Olanda, ha recitato, prodotto e diretto a New York e nella regione.
Il 15 maggio vieni a scoprire anche tu cosa potrebbe esserci di riserva per te, da qualche parte lassù, oltre l’arcobaleno, cantando con Dorothy e il Mago di Oz!

Follow the Yellow Brick Road!
For the past five years, Midge Guerrera has been helping Pontelandolfo students of all ages with their English. This year, to celebrate her 70th birthday, she decided to give students a gift of fun filled English language learning experience. At 6:00 PM on May 15, follow the yellow brick road to Sala Papa Giovanni Paolo II in Pontelandolfo to see The Wizard of Oz. The film will be shown in its original English and the karaoke sub-titles will be in English This will provide students with an opportunity to hear native English speakers, to practice reading, speaking and singing to the classic film. The Admission is free. For fun, wear a costume from the film.
American actors, Janet Watson and George Hansel will be on the stage helping students sing along to the songs that made the 1939 American musical fantasy film produced by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, famous. Both have a long history of creating theatre for children and adults. Janet Watson is a specialist in developing theater programs for persons with special needs. She has shared her vocal talents with audiences around the world. George Hansel currently lives in Holland and directs for a number of English speaking theater companies. Prior to moving to Holland, he acted, produced and directed in New York and regionally.
